Speed of Dating roaring success

A play about a bisexual woman’s dating experiences has proved a massive hit as part of this year’s Manchester LGBT Pride festival.

“The Speed Of Dating” is a one-woman play with Sarah Emmott in her first full-length performance, the story of Alice, who simply cannot get to grips with dating when she comes out of a long term relationship. By turns hilarious and poignant, it has entranced audiences with a string of sellout dates. The play evolved from a ten-minute comedy standup routine, turning a thinly drawn character into someone whose journey of hope and agonising embarassment will be familiar to almost everyone – gay, straight or bi.

Future performance dates to be announced – we believe the next stop is Camden.
