BBC Radio Manchester’s weekly LGBT show focuses on the B in LGBT this week.
Presenter Ashley Byrne and co-hosts Andrew Edwards and singer/songwriter Claire Mooney are joined by researchers from the University of Huddersfield including Surya Monro who have been studying how bisexual people are treated by local councils in the UK. They found lots of support for gay men and women but little for people who identify as bisexual. Are bis getting a fair deal from local government, Citizen Manchester ask, and if not, why?
You can hear the show here on the iPlayer – the segment is about 20 minutes in.
