The 2011 awards have bi nominees shortlisted in four of the seven categories: three high-profile activists who have worked on local and national groups and events over the last two decades, and also shortlisted – the community press journal of the UK bi scene BCN which has given us a distinct bi voice since 1995.
With only three on each shortlist, that’s already a remarkable show of support for the work of activists and projects challenging bi invisibility – but with your support, they could be bi-winning nominees.
