Good news from the USA and Spain yesterday.
In Spain a constitutional challenge which had been mounted to same-sex marriage was defeated.
Meanwhile in the USA though most eyes were on the battle to be the next President, in three states attempts to make same-sex marriage unconstitutional were defeated, while in two states same-sex marriage was legalised through a specific vote at the ballot box. This means same-sex marriage is now recognised in eight states out of fifty.
And Kyrsten Sinema is in a tight race to become the first openly bisexual member of Congress – one of eight openly LGB&T candidates running for Congress this year.
