Iconic bisexual rock singer Lou Reed died today aged 71. Best known perhaps for queer anthem Walk on the Wild Side his career spanned decades from the Velvet Underground in the 1960s to a long solo career.
Reed was given electroconvulsive shock treatment as a teenager in the 1960s to ‘cure’ his bisexuality.
