This month’s London BiCon have unveiled their plans for the evenings at the year’s biggest bi event.
They say:
We think the evenings at BiCon are every bit as important as the days. They provide a chance to relax, slow the pace down, resume conversations and meet people. We’ve tried to cater to a broad range of tastes, but if you want to organise something different alongside what we have on offer (a bridge tournament, singalong, drum jam maybe?) then please speak to the Registration Desk about facilities and promoting it.
Wednesday Night
* The night before BiReCon we will not have use of the bar. There’s going to be some “getting to know each other” games in the Atrium.
Thursday Night
* After a busy day of BiReCon we slip gently into 10ICB and BiCon with the traditional Thursday evening of catching up with old friends and making new ones.
* We will have background music in the bar which will be open until 11pm
* In the Atrium we’ll have a no-alcohol social space, with board games available.
Friday Night
* In the lower level in the bar we’ll have live DJs playing music and tolerating requests from 7pm until the bar closes at midnight.
* In the Atrium we’ll have a no-alcohol social space, with board games available.
* In one of the session rooms off of the Atrium we’re hoping to show the French documentary “Bisexual Revolution” at 8pm.
Saturday Night
* In the upper level of the bar we’re going to have a Ceilidh, with live musicians starting at 8pm.
* Either side of the Ceilidh the DJs will be again playing music in the lower bar.
* In the Atrium we’ll have a no-alcohol social space, with board games available.
Sunday Night
* In the upper level of the bar we’ll see the results of Saturday’s “Preparing a Coronation” session, at 9pm.
* The DJs will again be playing music around this, from 7pm until midnight.
* In the Atrium we’ll have a no-alcohol social space, with board games available.
