The second Cardiff BiFest is set for the start of next month – Saturday, 5th March.
The organisers promise a one-day (now annual!) event run by Bi Cymru/Wales, Bi Cardiff and Bi Swansea bringing bisexual people, their friends, allies and anyone interested in bisexuality together for a day of workshops around bisexuality and related issues, community stalls and craft and social space followed by an evening social event.
When: Saturday 5th March 2011. Workshops 12 noon until 6pm, followed by an evening social
Where: Cardiff University Students’… Union 4th floor
Price: £5 unwaged, £10 waged – all proceeds go to continuing to run BiFest Wales and to local bi groups in Wales.
No need to register, just turn up on the day.
Workshops will include:
– finding the bisexuals and groups in Wales and the UK;
– gender binaries – what does it mean to be trans?;
– community interaction – bi communities and non-bi communities working together;
– allies and friends;
– fitting and misfitting in the bi community;
– fun and games
– and many more.
