A new play based on interviews with bi people around Britain today takes to the stage for the first time tomorrow night. Performances of “Twice Removed” begin in Middlesborough and Newcastle with later tour dates including two performances during Manchester Pride week.
The publicity promises that “Sian Johnson’s warm and funny play takes you on a mind boggling journey through game show studios, Florentine villas, busy restaurants and a day at the races! Based on interviews with people from the LGBT community and their friends, Twice Removed presents an honest and often politically incorrect view of love, life and the community and delivers a hilarious and provocative insight into life on the margins. Contains strong language, themes of a sexual nature and comes with an assurance that no bisexuals were hurt during the making of this play!”
