WorldPride’s bi arts call for help

FLUID is a photography exhibition showcasing the work of bi-identified artists from around the world. It will be held in June, 2014 as part of Toronto’s WorldPride celebrations – an international gathering that celebrates the activism, education, history and culture of global LGBTQ communities.

The exhibition will be held in June, 2014 as part of Toronto’s WorldPride celebrations – an international gathering that celebrates the activism, education, history and culture of global LGBTQ communities. The organisers want to make it more than ‘just’ an art exhibition.  The gallery will be a hub that will be used for workshops, poetry readings, artist talks and more. As they put it: for one month Toronto will have a “home away from home” for bisexuals.

They’ve launched a kickstarter appeal for donations to make it all possible.  Depending how much you can donate you can get ‘thank-you’ rewards such as limited edition photography, bellydance lessons, and portrait sessions, or pin-badges and stickers.

The kickstarter aims to raise 4000 Canadian dollars – around £2,200. They’re already halfway there. If you have a few pounds you could give them to help make it happen, click here.
