Bisexual Oxford will be taking part in the Oxford Pride Parade this coming Saturday and would welcome more people to join them. They say:
Come as you are. If you’d like to wear the Bi Pride colours of blue, pink and purple, that’s great. There will be a small number of purple umbrellas and bright pink sashes available for people that want them. Alternatively, the theme for Pride as a whole this year is ‘A Proud Odyssey’ so space themed outfits or accessories would be particularly appropriate. This is strictly for those that enjoy that sort of thing though. Dressing up is not required in order to join in.
The parade will be meeting at 11.30am at the Saxon Tower at the corner of Ship Street and Cornmarket. You’ll be able to find us by looking for the purple bisexual banner.
The parade will pass down Cornmarket Street then Queen Street and on through the Oxford Castle and ends in Oxpens Field where you will be able to look around the Pride Village, including the Bi stall, of course!
