The state of bi theory

The USA-based Journal of Bisexuality has a new edition out, focused on the presentations at last summer’s international Bisexuality Research Conference (BiReCon).

Subtitled “BiTopia”, the special edition edited by Brian Zamboni and with an introduction by Serena Anderlini-D’Onofrio the journal reports many of the presentations given at the conference. Topics covered include getting the “b” into lgbt in a UK trades union, bisexuality in later life, bisexuality in cinema, maintaining a bi identity over the longer term, and blogging as a route for coming out and developing a sense of bi self.

The Journal costs around US $100 – but is carried in a number of university libraries, and short film clips from the presentations are available online on the BiReCon youtube channel.
