Will there be a B in Number 10’s LGBT?

Prime Minister David Cameron has just announced his second LGBT garden party reception at 10 Downing Street, this one to kick off London’s extended LGBT Pride week.

Last year’s event – hosted jointly by David Cameron and Deputy PM Nick Clegg – had a smattering of famous ‘names’ and people in and around politics, along with representatives from a variety of lesbian & gay grassroots organisations. The previous Downing Street LGBT reception held by Gordon Brown the year before had a similar guest list.

Will this be the year Downing Street spells LGBT with a ‘B’ (and, indeed, a ‘T’)? At BiMedia, we can’t wait to find out…
