Brighton BiFest has barely ended as the publicity for London’s event in May gets started. London tends to be the biggest BiFest of the year so get May 16th in your diary now!
They say: London BiFest is an annual day-long festival exploring and celebrating bisexuality. We take over the top two floors of Doggett’s Coat and Badge to run workshops, play games, socialise and dance.
During the day, there will be sessions including bisexual activism, flirting, and diversity in the bi community. There’s social space so you can have a drink, a craft corner, and a time-out area with books and magazines. Children are welcome in the upstairs bar, although not allowed at the sessions.
In the evening we’ll have a disco with DJs, more social space, and a quiet room. There’ll be a small buffet in the early evening and the pub also serves food all day.
Access:
The venue has a lift up to the top two floors, and disabled toilets. Our website has more information on accessibility, or you can email us if you have specific questions.
Volunteering:
If you’d like to volunteer to help out with the event, do let us know! We’re particularly looking for people to be on the registration desk during the day. Please also forward this press release on to anyone you think would be interested.
