It’s now four years since the publication of “Getting Bi: Voices of Bisexuals Around the World”, a book bringing together a rich blend of bisexual experience from 32 different countries. Since then the world has moved on: for example, here in Britain the introduction of Registered Civil Partnerships means that while back then same-sex and mixed-sex relationships were treated differently in law, now they are… erm, treated differently in law.
But those four years have given editors Robyn Ochs and Sarah E Rowley time to seek out new and additional voices from ten of the nations that were not represented in the 2005 book.
The new second edition of “Getting Bi” is out now and should be appearing at online bookshops soon (and in good real world ones too!) Proceeds from the book go to support the work of the Bisexual Resource Center in the USA.
